Children’s Thoughts Expressed

Children are adept in showing that they don’t pay attention, yet actually they do.  They do that well!  That’s why adults should always ask, and strive to notice things that are happening with children.  Some children prefer not to talk unless asked, and that’s when we need to intervene.  We need to find effective ways to let children speak up, and express themselves.  Certainly this is a vital task we all need to take responsibility in.

To continue the “First 365 days of Covid19 Worldwide Quarantine” commemoration, some children got interested to express themselves about the situation we are all in right now.  Here is what I got from them:

 

 

Wow! This little information gathered is clear enough for us to believe that children are definitely facing extreme challenging situations as well during this covid19 period.  It is evident that children are anxious about our situation right now.  That they are in agony and definitely in a turmoil of uncertainties and probably fear.

There’s no doubt that adults are way more capable to adjust and adapt to different situations.  Life’s experiences have molded us to become resilient.  Adults have a clearer understanding about what’s going on around their surroundings, and what about the children? They too are, yet in limited degrees.

The children of today can go both ways, be better or be lost.  Adults need to take part in guiding children the best way possible. A simple interaction, a little “hello” could just be the start of something wonderful. Let’s take an active part in doing this simple yet significant act.  Also, let’s not forget to live by example and show our children the beauty behind darkness.  That during these difficult times, there is a big chance we can all overcome this successfully through genuine love and care.
