Get Ready with Me is a special Monday poem for all teachers worldwide. Here it goes…

Monday strikes, the alarm keeps snoozing

Get ready, shower and do some brushing.

Coffee is hot, 150 degrees

Wear some makeup, get ready with me!

Start with SPF, it’s not shown here

Pour some eye drops, they’re just that minty.

Where’s your primer, initial step

To cover those wrinkles and giant pores.

Spread around your face, and on your neck too.

Add a little bit more, be generous to you.

Concealer for eyebags, and on your eyelids.

Maybe tell me, what brands you bid?

When eyes are set get anything red

They make you blush, who cares when it’s fake?

From cheeks to lips, you can use for both

Don’t be choosy, cause nobody cares.

You’re looking great now, let’s do the next.

Mascara for your brows, my lashes don’t need them.

Make many strokes until eventually you’ll sigh

Just make sure you don’t overdo it like Madam Kilay.

There you go, your painting is done.

I wrote this poem in 20minutes. It’s not perfect nor that important, but hey I did have fun.
