Beauty!  A word everyone loves to hear, see and experience.  But honestly, if you are asked “What is beauty?”,  what do you normally say?

Well, if you are asking me, or let me just ask myself!  Looking back decades ago, ‘beauty’ for me then had a different connotation than now.  As a young, naive and less insighful little girl, I did depict beauty as something superficial.  Something that everyone needs to show, and needs to be verified by peers or the society.  Not only until now that I have definitely defined beauty as something extremely “subjective” and “personal”.  For me right now,  beauty is a state of self care, peace and inner feeling that someone can transcribe to others. Beauty is felt, enjoyed and shared with others.  And today, I am going to tell you how I gave my self another way to experience the beauty in me. Today, I am going to tell you how “smile4youcambodia” Antigona Cosmetology made me feel extremely beautiful. 🙂  Let’s go get started!

Entering adulthood, and experiencing it at the moment, I won’t deny the fact that I have reached the point of actually disregarding self care and self enhancement.  I reached the point of realizing that there are things that matter more, and need to be prioritized.  Name it, family, career, daily joy encounters and challenges; seriously, will we ever have time to think about enhancing ourselves?  Add this covid19 pandemic issue right now.  No way, isn’t it?

We all are very aware of how stressful things are recently, or should I say since March of this year.  Many of you have been following my challenges and triumphs this 2020, and I know for a fact you are all aware of how hectic and busy my life has been.  So definitely that’s it, one day I searched for a place where I can avail services that will give me this RRBR time.  Rest, Relaxation and Beauty Regimen time.  I came across many options but there’s one place that stood out, and that was smile4yuoucambodia.  Despite the busy schedule, I was able to make appointment with them and was extremely satisfied of the services I got from them.  Here are the services I received and what I can say about those:

1. Back massage therapy:  The massage was conducted by Olga Kim, a trained and certified medical professional.  The massage she performed was an excellent one, as she did manipulate soft tissues, muscles, connective tissues, tendons, ligaments and skin of my back professionally.  She used various degrees of pressure and movements, and as a nurse, I knew that she was targeting correct muscles and pressure points.  In short, what did I really love about the back massage therapy?

• Precision and consistency of hand strokes
• Relaxing and hygienic place
• Olga’s expertise explains to me more scientific evidences and procedures that I need to regularly perform in order to have a healthy back.

         Thanks Olga.  Now here’s what happened after the massage.

2. Facial Massage: This was conducted by Cosmetologist Anna Borisenko, an expert and well certified professional in her field who I also find very informative and accommodating.  I don’t normally avail this service from anywhere because I thought that my face seems okay.  Well, Anna didn’t see any great issue about my face, however; I do love the fact that she asked about my age before performing any procedure.  Just by that I then knew that she wanted to make sure what procedure best suits me.  How was the facial massage?  Well, other than she has the most gentle and professional hands, she demonstrated a broad range of facial techniques that optimizes the results of the treatment.  Every stroke she did on my face was giving me a reason to commend her for doing such a great job!  The apparatus that she used was commendable as she was equipped with new and modern machines; just an indication that she does procedures with the ease of high-end technology.  It was just extravagant.  Here are some little clips about that procedure.

What are the benefits of a facial massage?  Well after a few research I have found out that

• It tones facial muscles and relieves tension 
• It releases toxins
• It boost circulation
• Improves product absr[tion
• Relaxation

Are there any side effects?  Well, a BIG NONE!  Thank you Anna for that wonderful experience!

Next, the thing I was super excited about, the:

3. Teeth Whitening- This procedure was conducted by Anastassiya Fominykh.  Many of you have noticed that my teeth are great, hahahah, however I personally want to see how it is going to be if they are whiter than they were.  So anyway, Anastassiya performed a 3-step teeth whitening procedure.  First I cleaned my teeth using a rubbing gauge, and Anastassiya applied some gel on my teeth, and a laser kind of machine was placed at the front of my teeth.  Yeah, this was made possible with mouth retractors.  You don’t want to see that do you?  Every step took about 20 minutes so for the 3-step teeth whitening, it took me almost  80 minutes to get that done including the little breaks in between.  I can’t complain as pretty much I was very chilled and relaxed in their clean and comfortable clinic the whole time.  What did I like about this?  

• Well, first it was non invasive.  That means, nothing inside my gums nor my teeth went through internal procedures.  The procedure was plainly about the outer layer of my teeth.
• It was painless or should I say a little tingling sensation was felt but as the saying goes “no pain no gain”.  No!  There was no pain at all.  It was just a sensation! 🙂

Do you want to know what happened after 90 minutes? My teeth became 5 degrees whiter and brighter than before.  It was a super exciting feeling, checking out your teeth over the mirror right after it.  Fabulous job Anastassiya.  To conclude I am super satisfied.  Anastassiya also gave me some take home toothpaste that I will have to apply on my teeth the next couple of days.  Right now I am smiling typing my blog with brighter teeth topped with the blue gel toothpaste she gave me.  Come and see next time we meet.
