Do you want to know how much Journey4Us values other social media platforms? Do you want to be a part of Journey4Us Social Media Activities? Sit back and explore different ways on how you can connect to us.
It’s not surprising how social media has made our means of communication easier these days. I am certain that many of us here use social media as a medium of communication. We all find it faster, and accessible don’t we? Since Journey4Us wants to connect to as many people as possible, we have launched our social media accounts on different platforms. Here you will see an exact list of our official social media accounts. We will also be letting you know what each account is for. Let’s hop in!
Facebook Pages and Account
Facebook is the platform where we share each of our blog posts first. In a matter of 5-10 minutes after posting on our blog, that content is then shared to our Facebook Page. Our page was launched March of 2021. It is pretty new and we are happy to have legit, happy and healthy followers in there! Check it out if you prefer to use Facebook to stay in touch with us.
This page was launched last August 2021and has been helping teachers around the world. It started as “Pinoy Teachers in Cambodia” until I realized it has to be worldwide. We normally receive requests from teachers who would love to share their workshops or training available. We feel privileged that these teachers have been reaching to us and we feel great knowing that we have helped them. For fellow teachers who would love to share on this page, all you need to do is be a Journey4Us member or subscriber then we can approve any teaching related posts you may have. See, we want healthy collaborations here. Start filling up the form now and let us help you share your teaching Journey, may it be on this page or here on our website.
This page was created in April 2018. I was actually just bored at that time and I was thinking it would be nice to have a little space for Khmer young adults to go to and give them a chance to have a little job on the side by teaching expats in Cambodia how to speak Khmer. However, I got busy along the way and wasn’t able to work on it. Surprisingly on the other hand, in the last six months, this page has been receiving a lot of likes and followers. I really appreciate how Khmer people show their love to this page. In line with this, I am looking for a reliable, honest, and determined Khmer person to help me moderate this page. We will still keep this page as a medium to teach expats how to speak Khmer. On this page as well, we share everything about Cambodia. So far this page is looking really great and is promising. I am hoping to find someone I can collaborate with for this. Check this page out now and let me know if you know someone who can help me with this. Maybe it’s you!
This group was launched in April 2013 and was used as a medium for people in Cambodia to look for jobs and for HR managers to post jobs available. Middle of 2020, we added the phrase “best deals”, and that allows any establishments to advertise here on the group. Job postings here are FREE depending on the size of the company. All other best deals from various businesses are allowed with a reasonable fee. Other posts were also approved without paying any. This depends on the Admin’s discretion, and that is me, Teriz. All you need to do is send me an email and explain your situation. What we want here is a happy and healthy community. We can always talk about it.
Hello World Group was launched in June 2020. It was during Covid 19 when this was launched with the hope to connect everyone around the world and keep all members updated about the Covid situation. Along the way some members are posting some inspirational or business oriented posts. This group has less strict rules as we always make sure to approve member requests that we find legit. So if you are looking for space to simply post anything positive you think, this group is perfect for you. Join this group and say #helloworld!
In English “Filipino Moms in Cambodia. From the name itself it is intended for us, Filipino moms in Cambodia. Actually, the reason why I created this was I wanted to practice my Filipino ( language of the Philippines). I try to post 100% Tagalog only in there. This group as well is a little bit less active although I’m not surprised! I know how busy we moms are in our day to day lives. Again, I would love to grow this group with the goal of providing a safe platform for all OFW (Overseas Filipino Workers) moms in Cambodia to “chika” or rant. We would love this group to be entertaining and fun at the same time. If you think you can help me moderate this group, do let me know.
Now you see what Covid made me do? I created many Facebook groups with beautiful goals that I am certain of. No doubt too many of us around the world got into gardening while we stayed indoors. In the Philippines we call it “plantita”. I guess that means “plant lover”. Correct me if I am wrong. Even before March 2020 when Covid 19 was announced worldwide, we were already creating our rooftop garden in our place. June 2020 we started seeing progress and vegetables started growing. My first blog was even about our Garden. Check it out here. I guess we all have experienced and felt the positive energy plants give us during these difficult times. That was then I created this group, plainly for all members to share any plants, flowers, garden images. It is always great to share the beauty you see around the world. I believe plants are beautiful and the more we see them, the more we feel at peace. If you have a garden or are planning to create one, please join this group and be a part of plant loving people from across the world.
Everyone is welcome to my personal facebook account. What I only ask from you is to subscribe via email on our website, and that way I can definitely be sure that I am adding someone legit. So if you have subscribed here on Journey4Us and if you want to add me on your facebook friends list, simply send me an email telling me which email you have used in subscribing here. No doubt I will approve your friend request on facebook after verifying. Question is, what benefit do you get if you are on my Facebook list? Well, other than my blog, I love posting daily stories about my life. I mean real life. I love sharing happy and funny thoughts on my news feed,, and I want to share it with people like you! Someone who is also trying to spread kindness and holding on to the belief that “we can make this world a better place to be”.
Phew! It’s pretty clear now how obsessed I am with social media activities. Let’s go to the next platform, Instagram.
If you have been following me you might have already read my blog saying that all Facebook accounts we have, have corresponding instagram accounts. Pretty much that’s easy to search. You will see connected accounts on our Facebook Pages.
Well what I would tell you is just the thing that I consider significant. On Facebook you can post with links. That is not happening on Instagram. You can only post clickable link on your bio on instagram, that’s why you most likely see post on IG that says, #linkonmybio. Also, the sizes of frames for images and videos are different. There were some posts on our Instagram that don’t really fit on a frame and I apologize if you got bothered by those. As I’m telling you, baby steps, one day at a time. I am working on it and trying to make my posts as perfect as possible. If you want to know the exact difference between the two platforms, this is what I have read and this gave me clarity. You might want to check that out too by clicking this link.
This is our original twitter account and twitter we used twitter as well to share our blogs. I have noticed that twitter is quite powerful when I am posting job posts or give away promo. I am still looking for some ways on how to grow this but really not bothered by now as the other platforms we have are doing great. Let me know if you have any idea how we can grow this without investing money.
This twitter account was created last December 2020. This platform was used to introduced Journey4Us to the Philippines. As you can see it is GA for “give away”. It was Christmas time when we launched this account and yes, I felt quite happy that we were able to somehow conduct giveaways to all my fellow Filipinos back home. Is this happening again this Christmas? Definitely yes, especially if you can invite others to subscribe to Journey 4us just like you!
Our Pinterest business account is also newly launched. Here we post images from our blog that we thought are perfect for Pinterest. We target to spread our vision again, to create a happy and healthy community through our pins. We welcome collaborators on all our different boards. So if you love Pinterest, check out our boards and I am hoping that we can collaborate there too.
There we go readers and followers. I have just unlocked all our Social Media Activities with the hope of providing you all better ways on how to stay connected with us. This blog is also intended for some beginner bloggers who are having difficulty growing their blog. Opening social media accounts and monitoring social media activities are definitely some of the effective ways to grow our blog. Once our blog is growing, that then will catapult us all in achieving our goals. For us here, we only aspire to build a happy and healthy community, where everyone is welcome and is highly appreciated. Come and join us and be a part of our Journey!
