My daughter has the most unique name in the world.

Let me tell you how I can say that my daughter has the most unique name in the world. Grab some coffee or tea, this will be long.

Let’s begin, 11 years back:

I was due to deliver my second child late September of 2010. I can vividly recall how we had a little gathering at home in August of that year. I was asking my guests to guess when I was going to deliver. Many chose September 11 that time. We know why, and September 3 so my child would have the same birthday with his brother , Franco. Not only that they gave their birthdates guesses, we have also reached a point where I asked for name suggestions. Clearly I didn’t have any names planned yet. Yes many suggested, Francine, Francheska and others that start with an F.😅. Neither of them knew that in my mind,

I wanted something unique. Extremely unique and meaningful.

That night ended well and my thinking of names started. (Once I see the photos of that night I will upload it here.)

My daughter’s story is seriously magical and special. I have shared it with a few people but now I realized, I wanted to blog about it so this story will never ever be forgotten. This birthday blog story reveals how I came up with such a one of a kind name.

Okay, let’s hop on to the start of my thinking and creating names, but this should start from the day of conception. Let’s go!

My second child came in an extreme surprise. I have never been so shocked in disbelief in my life until I got pregnant the second time. Yes, shocking and disbelief were the perfect words to describe it. It was just not possible, yet I got pregnant. Because of those facts, the first thing that came into my mind about what I am going to call my child was, “The name should be Godly inspired, this baby is from God.” Then I figured, “Oh yeah, THEO.

That’s a great start of a name, and it has the TH from my name too. I continued thinking, “Theo is such a common name. How can I make it unique?”. I continued thinking and realized that this baby is the one who made me believe in miracles. “She is the one!”, I said to myself. That thought of being the one lingered in my head for a couple of days. Until the day I figured, The-One seemed so proud. “How can I make The-One looking and sounding like a name?”, again I murmured to myself. After a good sleep, one morning I woke up, made scribbles on my notes (I hope I can see that notebook again) and added E at the end. That was then, THEONEE was created.

After figuring out Theonee, I realized that I wanted her to have a second name. Second name is perfect just in case a day comes that she might get uncomfortable with Theonee, at least she has another option. Also, that time I was having a strong thought that,

“She needs to have two names just like mommy.” (Mommy should be everywhere😅)

Then the thought of a second name started.

Okay, I was set with Theonee, what could come next?

I wanted the meaning of the second name to be “girl”. Like “The One Girl.

I searched and saw many and the name “Colleen”, struck my attention. Not only that it sounds perfect with Theonee, but also because I remembered, “Colen” was the name of one of the prominent cartoon characters in my favorite childhood Philippine Program,”., “Cedie ang Munting Prinsipe” (Cedie, the Little Prince). Coleen was portrayed as a good friend of Cedie the Prince. She was always helpful and kind, and pretty. That feeling of excitement waiting for your favorite show to play during those days. So different now. Well, I guess Prince Cedie and Colen ended up together later in their lives? Now this explains why I am so into watching the Royals right now. I have it since then.😅

Okay, now let’s polish this. I was sure now with Colen, but I want it spelt in a unique way again. I guess it was like after five to seven days since I started thinking of names I had finalized, that I wanted Colen to be spelt as Coleen. Finally, that’s how I came up with the most unique name in the world, Theonee Coleen and she is my daughter.

My kids no doubt have given me so many beautiful experiences in this lifetime. As all of us can attest, our children mean the world to us. I am just like you. An extremely proud mom who would always want what’s best for our children. With Theonee’s situation however, I am always still in awe of what I have achieved. Everytime people meet and know Theonee, many of them would normally tell me “What a unique and creative name”.

The more it happens, the more I am convinced that I was able to come up with something extremely special. That is to name a child with the most unique name in the world, Theonee Coleen.

Realizing all these, I can again only share to my followers that;

Doing things from the bottom of your heart will always result in something beautiful.

I know that if I upload this blog, this can inspire new moms to name their children somehow related to Theonee. Go ahead mamas. Right now I have a certain feeling that, when Theonee Coleen was born, I have made a history. Theonee (as many of us will call her) was introduced to the world and certainly, she will have name descendants.

There you go everyone. One of the most memorable moments of my life has unfolded. Theonee is turning 11 today, and this blog is one of my eternal presents for her. Happy birthday baby Theonee Coleen, we love you so much. Greeting as well to Kuya Franco who have officially entered the teen years. We love you both!
