Valley Forge Park Journey
Our Valley Forge Park Journey is one of the most beautiful adventures we had.
Let me tell you why Valley Forge Park journey is one of the best adventures we had during our USA summer holiday.
Where is Valley Forge Park? is located at 1400 N Outer Line Dr, King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. It is a 30-40minutes drive from my sister’s place.
What is Valley Forge Park? It is a national and historical park and considered to be a museum of the continental army during the winter between 1777-1778. The 3500 acres of monuments, meadows and woodlands symbolize the perseverance of everyone involved in the Revolutionary war. The park is well maintained to remind people about the importance of pulling together and overcoming turmoils and adversities.
What did we do in Valley Forge Park? There are plenty of activities you can do in the park although us, we did our own trekking and walking and simply enjoyed the majestic and breathtaking views. We explored a 7 kilometer walk and we saw:
- wild berries, which we of course enjoyed picking and munching up
- humungous, strong and aged beautiful trees, that took our breath away
- enjoy the gallery below seeing the things that crossed our path as we walked:
Valley Forge is considered as a national and historical park and museum. As we walked along the pathways, here are some of the historical views that I have taken.
What’s written on those structures is interesting. Have you checked it?
Here are some more historical structures and scenery at Valley Forge Park.
As we walked around the fascinating Valley Forge park, we all enjoyed picking and munching some wild berries. I also dived into drinking from a water fountain. A situation that reminds me of my college days. It was a beautiful experience for all of us. It was a peaceful afternoon and we all soaked ourselves in the sun!
Here’s how we enjoyed the wild berries, and the sun soaking. You’re right. It was mainly about the berries.
Our little dip at the creek as we ventured around Valley Forge park was also one of beautiful moments we had in there.
It was perfect to soak our tired feet in the cold water. It got us refreshed ready for another mile or two.
The thought of her is everywhere, all the time. We miss you a lot!
Beautiful spots in Valley Forge Park
Below are the places where we took longer stops to appreciate more the beauty of these spots can give. Enjoy!
Skyscraper trees were around us. Entering this are was one of the most beautiful moments I had during our Valley Forge Park journey.
In this cottage, Franco found the book called “Saving Heart”. It was sealed in a ziplock bag saying “take and enjoy”. It is a beautiful creation by someone who I believe share the same emotion as we ventured Valley Forge. We both have lost someone dear to us, and we all are longing for their warm presence. The solitude we felt in the park gave us a chance to appreciate tiny little things despite the sorrow we are still experiencing. We are grateful to find that book. That made our day extremely unforgettable.

How did we end our Valley Forge Park Journey? Before heading home, we checked out Taco Bell. As this was our first time experience in Taco Bell, I had some few snaps about it.
We also saw a rainbow at the end of our day. How amazing is that?
To conclude, Valley Forge park is a must to see if you are in Pennsylvania. Other than your eyes get mesmerized by the beauty you will see, the park gives you an internal peace and immeasurable feeling of wonderment. As what my nephew uttered as we walked, “we are in heaven”. Entirely true! Valley Forge Park is heaven. Let me know if you are able to see this place.
I was able to make a little video clip of all our photos and videos. Have fun watching!
A journey no matter how small is worth sharing. It can inspire others.

Way cool, guys. We visited Valley Forge a few times during a 2 month trip to Pottstown, Pennsylvania. Nature abounds there.
