All teachers have been feeling an extreme and quirky kind of exhaustion. IT TOOK ME A LITTLE WHILE TO FIGURE OUT AND COME UP WITH THE MOST EFFECTIVE WAY OF CONDUCTING ONLINE LESSONS, AND AS WHAT THE OLD SAYING GOES ” TRY AND TRY UNTIL YOU SUCCEED”. I WAS ABLE TO FEEL A SENSE OF SUCCESS ON MY ONLINE TEACHING AFTER ALMOST A YEAR OF DOING IT. PRETTY MUCH THIS IS THE REASON WHY I AM SHARING THESE FREE TEACHING MATERIALS THAT I HAVE PERSONALLY CREATED. I TRIED IT DURING MY ONLINE CLASS AND DID FIND IT TO BE VERY EFFECTIVE.
So now, here’s a simple and comprehensive lessons that you can use in teaching and studying improper fractions to mixed numbers. Thanks to Khan Academy for some videos used on this material, and slidesgo my favorite slides template provider. This presentation turned out to be very effective in my class and I was able to teach my class how to convert improper fractions to mixed numbers with ease and efficiency. Each page of the slide has specific instructions already, however if you think there are some things that are unclear, please do ask or let me know.
Now that you have seen the resources, please remember that depending ofcourse on your class level and ability, this might be too easy or too difficult for your class. Feel free to edit or make some changes on this material to suit your needs. Just don’t forget to make a copy of your own before editing. Teaching the topic “improper fractions to mixed numbers” could be fun and easy, if presented well and in a comprehensive manner. I hope this one can be of help to you and to your students.
