What did you do for Literacy Day 2021?

Many people always ask, “Why did you choose teaching?”. Well, I guess for me it’s simple. Teaching makes me do what I love. It gives me the opportunity to inspire the children, and link them to tools that can provide them knowledge. Insights and learnings that are vital for their well being. Teaching also is a profession where having fun is allowed. Just like when we; teachers, celebrated Literacy Day 2021. We all had fun with the children by putting some book character costumes on.

Let’s hear out from some of my colleagues about their costumes and know what made them picked these characters.

Welcome teachers to Journey4Us, a community where teachers are always appreciated.

So our question for all of them today , “What made you choose this character for Literacy Day 2021?”

Angelo : “Legolas has always been my costume. This is the only costume I got.”

Bea: “ The Three Little Pigs is a classic. It will always be there. Just like me to the people I love, also I didn’t have costume so I opted for some virtual props.”

Jeza : “Princess Sofia is a humble and compassionate character.”

Noemie : “I picked Catwoman as my character because that was the first interesting movie character that I watched when I was a kid.😀”

Teriz: “I am never a villain in my life, and so I chose Rita Skeeter. It seems fun to portray something you are not.”

So far these are some of the people who have been so supportive to Journey4us’ adventure. From the bottom of my heart, “Thank you teachers for sharing your thoughts and sparing some of your time for this Literacy Day 2021 blog.”

Why am I so excited about school events like Literacy Day 2021?

Since before I am always an event person; may it be at work or personally. At work before, I used to plan for the whole school, and most likely didn’t experience being a participant. However, these days I am one of the participants. It’s more fun and I am loving it a lot. I would like also to thank my class right now; the Super Wolves, for their input in our Literacy project. Thank you kiddos. I wish you to see you all soon personally. Yeah, now I’m getting emotional.
