“Let’s go Marchin’ “ #youtubeperks

Hi everyone! It had been a challenging first two months of 2021 and as we enter the third month of this year, let me announce to you all the youtube perks you may want to avail under my youtube channel teriz@journey4us.  You will also be able to read from here “How to Start Youtube Perks” journey.

Youtube Perks is a new program that Youtube is providing to all monetized channels.  Any youtubers who got their channel monetized are given a chance to create different types of membership that they want to provide to their viewers or followers.  This gives any youtuber a chance another way to profit from any contents they provide.  If you are an owner of a monetized youtube channel, you are allowed to create maximum of three different perks categories, where you can set it up with membership fees.  Yes, membership fees depending on how much you want.

After receiving this invitation from youtube, I then definitely come up with my own version of these membership youtube perks. 

I will tell you now the step by step on how you can successully install or initiate these perks on your monetized channels.

1. Give unique perk category names – Perk names that reflect what you offer is an excellent step you need to take first.  There are too many perks available and to stand out among all these is vital to your success.  As what we all say “Hook those followers effectively”.
2. Describe your perks completely– Definitely any followers you have will get intrigued about the perks you are offering.  Describing every single detail of your perks will give your followers an idea about what they can benefit from your youtube perks.  Say for example, you will have “Eat with Me” level 1 perk.  Yes perks come in levels and technically they are from 1 to 3.  Level 3 being the heghest level of your membership youtube perks.  Alright going back, you need to describe your “Eat with Me” Level 1 Perk:  Being a member under this perk will allow you to see me eating my healthy diet everyday.  Not only that, you will also have an access to the recipe of every single meal I eat.  If you are into healthy eating and are having a hard time keeping track and motivating your self, this perk is perfect for you.  The monthly fee for this perk is 5$.  A bonus youtube live  with all the members under this perk will be given so we can all create a healthy and happy community.  Sign up now and let’s boost our health all together.
3. Create a badge for each Youtube Perk–  Creating a badge for each perk is one way to make your members feel valued.  This badge will also be visible next to their names everytime they interact to you.  This helps any youtuber to keep track of their followers accordingly especially during live chat.
4. Create a video of you explaining all the perks available on your channel – Your video introduction about your youtube perks is an essential part for your success.  Not only that your followers will know your perks staright from yourself, but it also adds more reliability to what you are planning to create on your channel.  Try to make your video short and straight forward and mke sure you are not going to give your followers false hopes or promises.  I mean yeah, nobody likes that.
5. Submit your Youtube Perks Details to Youtube–  Once you are all set with names, details and badges of your perks, you would need to get approval from youtube before you can start posting.  The approval took in less than a day, and for as long as your perks follow Youtube policies, there won’t be any reason for rejection.  I got mine pretty fast and I hope you will get yours approved that fast as well.
6. Post on your community tab–  After you got all aforememntioed stuff ready, it is time to post on your community tab.  Announcing about your Youtuber Perk to your community will give them a clear vision of what is going to happen on yoru channel.  What I did before, was I posted ” Dear followers, Journey4Us Yotube Perks are going to be available soon. Please stand by tomorrow at 15:00 UTC7 for a live announcement about these exciting perks I have for you all.  Thank you and I hope to see you tomorrrow” on my community tab.  I included of course images and those were the badges I got set up for every membership levels I planned.
7. Go live or Post your video–  Stick to what you have announced to your followers.  Either you will be going live to announce it or post a prerecorded video about your perks.
